Welcome! I’m Austin Picinich.
I’m a 19-year-old artist and student at University of Washington (Seattle).
I’m the founder & artist of the nationally-awarded Save Our Salmon (SOS) Mural Series. So far, I’ve led 700 volunteers painting a 112-foot SOS Mural along Juanita Creek (Kirkland, WA), and a 188-foot SOS Mural above McAleer Creek (Lake Forest Park, WA), and a 1,800 sq ft mural at the Western Fisheries Research Center (Magnuson Park, Seattle).
My murals have been featured in The Seattle Times, KING 5, KOMO 4, and the national Inspiring Young Heroes documentary. SOS was named one of the top 15 national projects making communities better by Barron Prize for Young Heroes.
